Position Overview

We are seeking a talented Business Development Manager to join our team at Japan Health Beauty. This strategic leader will drive growth initiatives, expand our market presence, and play a key role in building lasting relationships with customers and partners. The Business Development Manager will also be responsible for driving revenue and profit growth for the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Business Strategies: Conduct market research and analysis on industry trends, customer behaviors, and consumer needs to adjust and improve business strategies for higher flexibility and efficiency. Analyze competitors to shape long-term business growth strategies.
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement distribution and market access strategies to enhance brand visibility and drive revenue growth.
  • New Client Acquisition: Identify and develop relationships with potential clients, negotiate, and close contracts.
  • Strategic Planning: Lead the creation of commercial strategies, projects, and initiatives, ensuring successful implementation across the company.
  • Business Planning: Monitor business planning, revenue forecasting, and performance management to achieve sales targets. Negotiate trading terms with clients and partners.
  • Partner Management: Build, maintain, and develop long-term relationships with distributors and customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty while ensuring profitability.
  • Sales Team Development: Build and manage a performance tracking system, set KPIs, and develop a strong, winning sales team.
  • Business Reviews & Reporting: Prepare and present regular business reviews, analyze market challenges, and seize new opportunities.
  • Innovation & Digital Transformation: Leverage omnichannel (online-to-offline) and digital transformation trends to create unique distribution models, expanding market reach.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Encourage teamwork and collaboration across departments to achieve common goals.
  • Compliance & Integrity: Ensure all business operations comply with legal and ethical standards.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Foster and develop collaborative relationships with key industry and non-industry partners.
  • Product & Service Promotion: Organize events, seminars, or marketing activities to promote the company’s products and services.
  • Project Management: Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, E-commerce) to ensure smooth execution of business development projects and achieve set objectives.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in business management, particularly in Body Care, Sports, Medical Equipment, and Beauty industries.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Vietnamese and English.
  • Market Insight: Deep understanding of O2O (online-to-offline) retail dynamics, distribution channels, and market trends.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide teams, setting high professional standards.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and execute with excellence, translating ideas into actionable plans.
  • Business Acumen: Keen sense for identifying business opportunities and challenges, with the ability to develop appropriate strategies.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Driven by purpose, with a focus on improving customer and community life quality.
  • People Development: Proven experience in leading and developing teams, creating an environment of growth and innovation.
  • Adaptability: Flexible and able to quickly adapt to market changes. Willing to travel frequently.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or related fields.
